Smoky Rose

East Dallas-ites, rejoice!

Smoky Rose is the latest addition to the area and with it, a breath of fresh air has arrived as well.  For years now, residents of East Dallas have begged for a stronger dining scene and they’re finally getting it. In our opinion, it really is the next “it” destination and fabulous restaurants are taking note.

The addition of Smoky Rose, located directly across from the Arboretum, has folks buzzing. A sprawling covered patio, a gorgeous dining room and an outdoor area complete with fire pits and lots of seating, make Smoky Rose easy to love.  The restaurant is stunning, the service is friendly and genuine and the food is crave-able.

Smoky Rose serves up some amazing BBQ but it is done in a sexy, grown up way. Yep, sexy BBQ is a thing, didn’t you know that? Don’t worry though, in typical East Dallas fashion, Smoky Rose is completely kid-friendly!

Recently, we stopped in to see if Smoky Rose lived up to the hype and boy, does it ever.  Don’t take my word for it though, check out some of our favorites below:

Chef Spoon’s Deviled Eggs

House Smoked Scottish Salmon

The Smokehouse Duo with Smoked Turkey and Brisket

Mac & Cheese, Hand Cut French Fries and Mashed Potatoes

Warm Apple Spice Cake with Henry’s Vanilla Ice Cream

Convinced yet?

Honestly, you can’t go wrong here at Smoky Rose and since this initial visit, we’ve been back several times. Those deviled eggs will change everything and just wait until you see them for yourself! With the vast amount of comfortable outdoor space and the warm summer months not too far ahead, you can bet that Smoky Rose will be seeing a lot of you very soon.
