Don’t Tell Supper Club

Located on the corner of Commerce Street and Pearl in Downtown Dallas lies a traditional block building with a red carpet and unsuspecting front doors that simply read “dt”.  For many Dallasites, the building will be recognized as holding the ghosts of shuttered clubs from years past, but with the new life that Don’t Tell Supper Club has given to the venue, the ghosts have officially been invited to the party that takes place Thursday through Saturday evenings.

Don’t Tell Supper Club is a first for Dallas.  Sure, the concept isn’t particularly new, but it is too often seen in cities across the world with a strong focus on a unique club scene – think London, Ibiza, New York, Miami and Las Vegas.  DTSC as we will refer to it from here on out matches impeccable culinary creations from consulting Chef, Tre Wilcox, with craft cocktails all in a cabaret meets circus environment.  Confused as hell? So were we…until we went for ourselves.

A two story venue with decor that is just as unique as the concept, affords patrons a fabulous dinner service from 6pm to 10pm during operating days and then turns into a club.  No, this isn’t your bump and grind on each other kind of place (although, we may or may not have made it one on our visit).  There are rotating acts that take the stage for guests to enjoy from live musical performances to contortionists, magicians to aerialists, your experience is sure to be one to remember.

The performances take place during the dinner hours but they really step up the excitement when DTSC turns into a nightclub for the night come 10pm. During dinner, expect sexy waitresses presenting dishes on crazy platters, cocktails served while smoking from dry ice, or with pop rock rims and other interesting touches.  Here, not a single detail has been brushed aside.

Here are a few snapshots from our recent visit.  Don’t pay any mind to the purple hue in all of the pictures…DTSC is too busy being sexy and cool to worry about instagrammable shots!

Trainspotting. The syringe is filled with an extra shot of rum..you know, just in case you need more.

With it officially being the weekend, why not go check out DTSC for yourself?  Whether it is date night, girls night out, you have guests in town or you are just looking for something out of your ordinary routine, we’ve found your place. To say that we were pleasantly surprised would be an understatement and we truly can’t wait to go back!
